Dr. Helen Deese, a lecturer in the English department, passed away on June 4th. She served both the university and the union faithfully, and she is a colleague who will be missed among our ranks even though she retired several years ago.

Elections for the positions of Vice President of Organizing, Vice President of Communications, and Treasurer were held at the last meeting.

A successful, peaceful, and disobedient protest took place on March 4th.
