activities and projects of Unit 18 NSF that contribute to members'
professional development and effectiveness as teachers and mentors
at UCR (see guidelines).
How much money is available? This campus sets aside
$21,203 annually during the contract period. Any unused balance is
carried forward to the next academic year.
Who makes the award decisions? The Non-Senate Faculty
Council on Professional Development, consisting of 5 current NSF
members at UCR, reviews applications and makes award
recommendations to the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost, who
makes the final award determinations.
